Airforwarders' Executive Director to Interview IATA Leader at CNS Cargo Event

(WASHINGTON) - Airforwarders Association Executive Director Brandon Fried will conduct an onstage interview with Tony Tyler, Director General and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), at the CNS Partnership Conference next week in San Antonio, Texas.
The interview will take place during the morning session on Tuesday, May 6. Fried and Tyler will discuss key trends and developments in the air cargo industry, with an emphasis on how the industry can achieve better harmonization globally on security protocols, customs processes and other common concerns, as well as the status of e-freight and other cargo initiatives.
"I am looking forward to this opportunity to have Tony address the state of the airline industry at large, and especially to give us his views on a range of issues that are of vital importance to air forwarders and other air freight industry stakeholders," said Fried.
The CNS Partnership Conference brings together more than 500 senior professionals dedicated to air cargo from the US and around the world. Attendees include airline executives, freight forwarders and shippers.
