Washington, D.C., USA, Monday, March 4th, 2024: The Airforwarders Association (AfA), a diverse coalition representing 250 logistics companies dedicated to moving cargo quickly and efficiently throughout the supply chain, has revealed the winners of its 2024 Industry Awards.
Since 1991, the Industry Awards have celebrated the achievements of AfA member organizations and honored their contributions to the international forwarding community.
Winners are selected by AfA members based on outstanding achievement in service quality, performance, and overall value.
The AfA honored this year’s winners during the annual AirCargo Conference, which welcomed more than 900 delegates when it took place from February 11-13 at the Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

During the event, the Association also presented its prestigious Jim Foster Memorial Award to Vaughn Moore, Chairman and CEO of AIT Worldwide Logistics.
The Award, named after the founder of the AfA, honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to the industry, organization, and membership.
Vaughn, who has over three decades of experience in the logistics industry, became an owner of AIT in 2012 after leading his team of Executive Vice Presidents in a successful leveraged buyout of the company.
His diverse background includes extensive sales, public speaking, recruitment, and management experience.
