This year’s AirCargo Conference has seen a record number of attendees with over 1,000 industry professionals attending the event in Dallas, Texas

Dallas, Texas, USA, Monday March 3rd, 2025: The 2025 Airforwarders Association (AfA) Industry Award winners have been announced at this year’s AirCargo Conference in Dallas, Texas, which itself welcomed a record number of attendees and exhibitors.

The AirCargo Conference 2025 has recorded over 1,000 attendees and nearly 100 exhibitors, at which AfA recognized the achievements of its member organizations and associates over the past year.

The Airforwarders Association Industry Awards celebrate members who have made outstanding contributions to the community or have achieve notable levels of high-quality performance, service and overall value.

The 2025 winners as announced:

·       International Airline of the Year – Lufthansa Cargo

·       Domestic Airline of the Year – Southwest Cargo

·       Surface Carrier of the Year – Sterling Transportation

·       Vendor of the Year – 7LFreight

·       Jim Foster Award Winner: Geoffrey Arend (Publisher, FlyingTypers)

During the event, the Association also presented its prestigious Jim Foster Memorial Award to Geoffrey Arend, the long-time publisher of FlyingTypers, the air logistics industry publication that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
